Mitchelle Daka, 29, from Budaka District, Eastern Uganda, has been crowned Miss Universe Uganda 2026, earning her a spot to represent her country at the 75th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Puerto Rico in November 2026.
This is the first time Uganda has won a Miss Universe title, and Mitchelle beat out 14 other contestants, including Kimberly Jael Aremo, who was widely considered the best.
